PJ Innovations Ltd (registered as P J Innovations Limited), 7A Stirling Way, Market Deeping, Peterborough PE6 8AS, United Kingdom. Email support@pjinnovations.com, telephone +44 (0)1778 345242. Company registration number: 05495676. Registered office: 7a Stirling Way, Northfields Industrial Estate, Market Deeping, Peterborough, PE6 8AS. We are the data controller for the personal details described in this notice.
What we collect
We collect personal details only when you use the enquiry form. These are the details you enter: your name, company, email address, telephone number, machine serial number (optional) and your message. If you chose a product, set up the output calculator, or added spare parts to your enquiry list, we also receive those choices, with the quantity of each part. We do not ask for anything else, and the form is the only place on this website where you give us personal details.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, or supply parts and support. Our legal basis is:
- Legitimate interests: answering the questions and requests that bakeries and other businesses send us.
- Steps at your request before a contract: preparing a quote or order you asked for.
- Legal obligation: keeping the records of orders and sales that we must keep for accounts and tax.
We do not use your details to make automated decisions about you.
Who receives your details
- Formspree (formspree.io), the online form service we use. When you press Send, your enquiry passes through Formspree, which emails it to us. We have switched off Formspree’s archive, so it does not keep a copy of your enquiry. Formspree processes data in the United States (on Amazon Web Services), so your details may be transferred to and processed there. We have signed Formspree’s data processing agreement, which sets out the safeguards for that transfer. Formspree’s privacy policy applies to its part of this.
- Red Barn Creative, which hosts this website. Web servers commonly keep basic technical records of visits, such as the visitor’s IP address and the pages requested. Any such records are held by our host under its own policy.
- Our own email system and the people at PJ Innovations who deal with enquiries.
We do not sell your details. We share them with other companies only where that is needed to deal with your request (for example, to arrange delivery of parts), or where the law requires it.
How long we keep your details
- General enquiries that do not lead to a quote or order: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
- Quotes, orders, support and warranty records: for as long as the order or support relationship lasts, and then for up to 6 years for accounts, tax and legal reasons.
Keeping your details safe
The form sends your enquiry over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Your enquiry list, before you send the form, stays only in your own browser and is never sent to us until you press Send (see “Cookies and similar storage” below).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- stop using it where we rely on legitimate interests.
Email support@pjinnovations.com to make a request. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would be glad to put things right first, so please contact us.
Cookies and similar storage
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it uses no analytics or advertising tools.
- Enquiry list (browser storage). If you press “Add to enquiry” on a spare part, the site remembers your list in your browser’s local storage under the names
pji-enquiry(the parts) andpji-enquiry-qty(how many of each) so it is still there when you open the contact page. It never leaves your device unless you send the enquiry form. Clear your browser data or use the Reset list button to remove it. - Background video (Vimeo). The home page shows a looping video from Vimeo. It is requested with Vimeo’s “do not track” setting turned on. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, it does not load by itself: you see a still picture with a Play button, and the video is only requested if you press Play. Vimeo’s privacy policy applies to that content.
- Fonts. The site’s typeface is served from this website, not from a third party.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
