FAQ

Questions, answered

The essentials on the PJI Divider Moulder, spare parts and support.

01What weights can the Divider Moulder portion?

From 28 g to 350 g. A 50 mm or 65 mm dough chamber is specified to suit your range, and the volumetric system holds weight piece after piece.

02How many pieces per hour will it produce?

Up to 36,000 pieces per hour on a 12-row machine at 28–100 g. Output per Piston falls as weight rises: 2,750 p/h at 100–160 g, 2,650 p/h at 160–230 g and 2,550 p/h at 230–350 g.

03How accurate is it?

±1–3 g depending on weight, and ±1–2 g at 28–100 g. Volume to weight may vary slightly with the percentage of water in your recipe.

04What doughs can it handle?

Most doughs with a water content up to 60–70%*, dependent on protein levels and flour quality.

05What products is it used for?

Pizza, pita, tortilla, naan, subs, rolls and bagels, on new or existing production lines.

06Can it be fitted to my existing line?

Yes. Every machine is configured to your line, with single or multiple discharge spreader belts to align and space product rows for downstream equipment.

07Where is it made?

In our own UK machine shop in Market Deeping, Peterborough, where we have machined and built the Divider Moulder since 2016.

08Do you supply spare parts?

Yes. Genuine parts for every assembly are held in stock for immediate delivery worldwide, with cross-compatibility for similar machines. Browse them on the Spare Parts page.

09What support do you offer?

Installation, in-depth operator and engineer training, planned servicing and over-the-phone support from the engineers who build the machine.
